During a trip to New York, CC set her lens on the Mermaids of New York. Capturing the time capsule of Coney Island Beach and its locals while celebrating the East coast’s largest arts festival. After a childhood obsessing over fantastical creatures and myths: CC was thrilled to capture local mermaids combating the unexpected rain at Coney Island pier, adorned in sequinned scales and tulle fabrics.
