Not a Traditional Wedding Photographer…
Having previously worked in fashion brand campaigns and portraiture, I was thrilled when Isha and Jack reached out, wanting me to capture their wedding celebration.
Jack and Isha wanted digital and analogue photography that focused on candid, emotional moments of their day. The non-traditional couple are self proclaimed ’TFL nerds’, and I was more than happy to photograph their first Tube journey as newlyweds (at rush hour on a Saturday)!
“You were a real pleasure to work with. All the guests LOVED you and how comfortable you made them feel in front of the camera. Your energy, your style and your professionalism were all higher than the sky.
Looking at the finished pictures, we are so happy that we chose you as our photographer instead of a traditional wedding photographer.”
“You documented the real moments, the tenderness of our love, the joy at the party, we really like the work that you have done for us. And it does not go unnoticed that you were working with two cameras at the same time. The efforts that you were putting to get the right angles, the way that you would get us to laugh in a group setting to get good pictures did not go unnoticed by us or the guests.”
The Party
At the start of our journey together, I asked the couple what was most important to them for their photos. In terms of style, they felt passionately that their wedding photos should be filled with warmth, fun and spontaneity. Their Henna party celebration held at their local pub needed to have a cool, ‘soft rock’, Desi vibe, to reflect them as a couple.
As a queer, brown artist, I believe I have a deeper understanding of how to create a warm, welcoming inclusive environment for anyone I photograph. If you have a special event or wedding approaching that you’d like to enquire about my photography services. I’d be happy to hear from you at hello@ccmorgancreative.com
